Broughton High band to march in Rose Parade
The Broughton High School marching band will march in its second Tournament of Roses Parade in four years next January, officials said Friday.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — The Broughton High School marching band will march in its second Tournament of Roses Parade in four years next January, officials said Friday.
Tournament of Roses Association President Richard Jackson will visit Raleigh next week to formally invite the Broughton High band to the Jan. 1, 2012, parade in Pasadena, Calif. Twenty-one bands will march in the parade, officials said.
Broughton High also marched in the 2008 parade, while North Carolina Central University's band participated in the 2011 parade.
