Lottery rolls out Pick 4 game

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Education Lottery plans to launch a daily Carolina Pick 4 game on April 17, officials said Thursday.

Carolina Pick 4 is a four-digit numbers game where players choose a number between 0-0-0-0 and 9-9-9-9. Players may also choose to have the terminal select the numbers for them.

Players can win from $100 to $5,000 daily, depending on the play type, play amount and the number type the player selects.

Drawings will be held Monday through Sunday at about 11:22 p.m. The drawings take place at WRAL in Raleigh and will be televised on WITN-TV in eastern North Carolina, WCNC-TV in Charlotte, WILM-TV in Wilmington and WYCW-TV in western North Carolina.

Players will be able to purchase tickets for the initial drawing at 5 a.m. April 17.
