RALEIGH, N.C. — Mark Davis of J.M. Davis Custom Homes presented a check Tuesday for $27,400 to the WakeMed Foundation.

The funds were generated through special events, donations and the sale of the WRAL Concept Home at 11321 Royal Amber Way in the Rose Hall Development.

The WRAL Concept Home tour was open to the public from April 4-13. Admission was free, but donations were accepted at the door for the WakeMed Foundation.

The donations collected will support the WakeMed Foundation’s efforts to expand pediatric services at WakeMed North Healthplex. The North Healthplex is a few miles from the Rose Hall subdivision and features the first 24-hour, full-service, stand-alone emergency department in North Carolina.
