Raleigh police detained seven juveniles near the North Hills movie theater on Saturday after a concert documentary.
The juveniles were detained shortly after the American Youngboy documentary aired at Regal Cinemas at North Hills. The documentary details rapper NBA Youngboy’s "Make America Slime Again" 2025 concert tour.

Videos from inside the movie theater circulated on social media showing young people inside singing and dancing along to the songs in the aisles and in front of the movie theater. One TikTok user indicated the movie theater staff kicked everyone out.
Broadcastify radio traffic around 8 p.m. Saturday showed law enforcement was called to the scene for a large crowd that appeared to be fighting.
“Approximately 20 people fighting in the Chick-Fil-A and the movie theater,” radio traffic said. “I guess there is a violent group that’s out here. They’re not actually fighting. One guy is acting like he has a gun.”
The seven juveniles were released to their parents, according to the Raleigh Police Department.
The documentary includes scenes from NBA Youngboy’s 2025 concert tour, where he stopped in Raleigh in October. The concert included massive traffic backups, like most concerts at the Lenovo Center or Carter-Finley Stadium. Raleigh police also arrested one man for breaking into at least a dozen cars and charged him for stealing four guns.
WRAL News has reached out to Regal Cinemas and North Hills for comment about the incident, but neither has responded. This article will be updated when they do.
