NC Wanted: Search continues for suspects in Durham murder case
A woman was beaten and strangled to death in Durham on June 30, 2010. Officials said a prison crew stumbled across her body, wrapped in plastic along Olde Oxford Highway.
Posted — UpdatedDental records identified the woman as Wanda Spence, 43, who had been missing for a week. She was last seen June 23 at the corner of Juniper and North Hyde Park in Durham.
“You could do it, it’s easy to do it,” said angler Ronnie Perry. “It’s just a tragedy, man.”
Law enforcement went back to the neighborhood near Spence’s home, passing out fliers and knocking on doors.
Officials said there is a possible suspect, but not enough evidence to make an arrest.
