Officials with the NC State Fair said a ride worker was injured and taken to the hospital on Friday.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Officials with the NC State Fair said a worker was injured and taken to the hospital on Friday.

A spokesperson with the State Fair said an employee for the Cuckoo Fun House stepped back on a spinning plate on the floor of the ride, lost her balance and fell. She was attended to by EMS and transported to the hospital. There was no word on the extent of her injuries.
