Museum plans Raleigh walking tour for kids

The Raleigh City Museum will lead a walking tour of downtown Raleigh.

The Raleigh City Museum will lead a Fayetteville Street walking tour for kids on Oct. 9.

The event for kids and families will take participants on a tour along Fayetteville Street and include stories such as the search for Thomas Briggs' gold and the Governor's Mansion mystery. The tour will last about an hour and kids will receive a Fayetteville Street investigation notebook. Adults must accompany their kids. Best for ages 6 and up.

The program is free but registration is required as space is limited. Call 919-832-3775 ext. 23 to register.
