CARY, N.C. — Mothers and daughters can get moving together during an upcoming workshop at Booth Amphitheatre.
"Inside Out Strong: Mother/Daughter Workshop" is Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. until noon. It is designed for daughters 10 years and older.

Inside-Out Strong Girls has teamed up with WakeMed for the event, which will feature interval training, yoga and even krav maga. While encouraging movement, the workshop will also explore other types of health.

"We tap into mental health, emotional health and relationships," Inside-Out Strong Girls founder Sarah Schall said.

Schall said that the program will offer moms and daughters a chance to connect with healthy practices not only for their bodies, but their minds. Topics like body image and identity will also be explored.

The workshop costs $10 per mother/daughter pair and $5 for each additional attendee. Advance registration is required.
