Sarah Bisher has made a cake for country star Kenny Chesney. Now she wants to make a cake for you ... at least for the winner of this very sweet contest. As you may have guessed by now, this giveaway is part of our Month of Mom where we're celebrating moms throughout May.
Sarah is owner of Abigail's Bakeshop, a Raleigh-based home business that I wrote about a month or so ago. The mom of three young kids has made hundreds of cakes, cupcakes and cookies for parties, special events and because (at least in my book) there's always a reason for dessert.

In this giveaway, the winner will have a choice of a dozen cupcakes; a 6-inch, round cake; or a $25 gift certificate. If you want to be prepared with your selection in case you win, her flavors include lemon berry, strawberries and cream, mint chocolate chip, southern red velvet, rich chocolate and chocolate covered strawberry.

I'm hungry!

What do you need to do to win? One or all of the following things:

1. Come see me at the WRAL Wellness Weekend from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and sign up for this contest. (You'll also be able to sign up to win a pair of tickets to see Michael Buble at the RBC Center. Stay tuned to Go Ask Mom for more on that contest next week and how you can enter that contest online as well).

2. Answer the following question in the comments below: Do you make or buy your children's birthday cakes?

3. Follow @wralmoms on Twitter and retweet about the contest.
4. Sign up for our weekday email newsletter by clicking here.

This contest ends at noon May 24. The winner must respond by noon May 27 or a runner-up will be selected. The winner's name will be posted on the site.

A note: I'm in the process now of identifying the winner for the summer camp contest.
