Go Ask Mom will be hosting the children's play area at the Midtown Raleigh Farmers' Market at North Hills in Raleigh from 8 a.m. to noon, Oct. 20!
I'm excited to return to the market for the second year to check out all the yummy produce, baked goods and more that they have there and meet up with Go Ask mom readers who can't make our weekday events.
What's planned? North Hills will pull out the large foam blocks that are so popular with the kids. We'll have a mascot our two. The always fun Sandbox band will be there (and maybe play a few from the new album they are getting ready to release). Missy of Stroller Strides - Midtown Raleigh will offer a free workout class. And we'll have crafts, snacks, drinks and more!
We'll also be collecting diapers, wipes and new or used children's books for The Diaper Train, which I featured on the site earlier this week. The group does take open packages of diapers if you have a few lingering around the house after your kids have grown out of them.
