Carbonaro, of course, is best known for his hit TV series, "The Carbonaro Effect," which is now in its fourth season on truTV. It's a favorite for both of my kids. On the show, he performs inventive tricks on unsuspecting members of the public who are unaware that he is a magician - and the confusion and laughs ensue. His live show includes audience interaction, video clips and all kinds of magic performed live on stage.

“Michael Carbonaro Live!” will stop at DPAC for a 7 p.m., April 14, show. Tickets start at about $40. Kids under the age of 6 are not allowed at the performance, according to DPAC's website.

For details, see DPAC's website.
