KitKeepers is the product of a mom, who has spent plenty of time on the sidelines along soccer fields across the region and beyond.

Jeanne Salas, the mom of two avid soccer players, developed the special bag to hold the standard issue competitive youth soccer uniforms for both home and away games. The bag fits easily in an athletic bag or backpack. Kids can pack their uniform in the bag immediately so it isn't floating around with the laundry or at the bottom of their bag, mixed with their ball, muddy cleats and other items.

The goal is to help kids ensure they have everything they need so they can focus on the game once they get there.

"You should be there to play, enjoy it. To play hard," Salas told me when I featured her on Go Ask Mom this summer. "Take care of the variables that you can take care of beforehand."

Salas tells me that things have been going well since we last spoke. She was among the sponsors for the Carolina RailHawks' Kick for Kids night and is currently a sponsor of the Capital Area RailHawks Developmental Academy.

There also are more places to get a KitKeeper - online at Kitkeepers.com and Soccer.com and at more and more retail soccer shops in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

The bag would make a great  gift for a soccer-loving kid!
