There are more splash pads in the Triangle than the new one in Fuquay-Varina.

Sprayground at Millbrook Exchange Park

I've gotten some emails from moms who have read about the new Fuquay-Varina splash pad and have wondered why there aren't any in Raleigh.

There are! They aren't as big or involved as the Fuquay-Varina splash pad, but they can be just as much fun. In Raleigh, you can find them at Chavis Park, Lake Johnson Pool, Ridge Road Pool and Millbrook Exchange Pool. The indoor Buffaloe Road Aquatics Center also has a sprayground area, including a small water slide for young children, a giant water slide for older kids, a lazy river, vortex and more.

This media cannot be viewed right now.

You also can find them in other parts of the region:

In Durham, you can find them at Forest Hills Pool, East End Park and Edison Johnson Aquatic Center.

In Fayetteville, there's the Splash Pad.

In Johnston County, the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center has an indoor splash park.

And Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville also has a splash pad.

Our public pool database lists them all with more information about the locations.
