Five Points Baking Co. cheese straws

Congratulations to Raleigh mom Kimberly Brackett-Jones!

Her Five Points Baking Co. has been named a 2014 Martha Stewart American Made Awards nominee. I featured Brackett-Jones and her gluten free cheese straws on Go Ask Mom last year. They are delicious!

The treats were originally made for her husband, a diabetic with celiac disease. Eventually, she cut back her hours working as a lawyer to focus on her business. The cheese straws are now found at local Whole Foods, A Southern Season and other local shops.

I know she would love Go Ask Mom readers' help spreading the word about her nomination (shares of her page on Martha Stewart's website on Facebook and Twitter could help her take home the big prize).

So take a look at her page on Martha Stewart's website and, if you feel inclined, share on Facebook and Twitter. Good luck, Kimberly!
