Susan Caldwell, owner of Lil' Chef in north Raleigh, tells me she's planning to open a new location in North Hills in September.
I featured Caldwell, a mom of two, and Lil' Chef last year. Click here to read the post. The business, located in the Falls River Town Center offers cooking classes, camps and parties for kids. There are programs for preschoolers to teens.

When Go Ask Mom hosted the play area at North Hills last month, Susan came over to say hi and mentioned she was considering North Hills. So I'm happy for her that the deal worked out.

The North Hills' Lil' Chef location will have track out camps; birthday parties; cotillion and etiquette classes; and weekly cooking classes. There also will be Kids Night Out events where parents can leave their kids from 7 p.m .to 9 p.m. Fridays for kids ages 5 to 9 and Saturday for kids ages 10 to 13.

A grand opening celebration is planned from 10 a.m. to noon on Sept. 10. More details to come. Lil' Chef will be located on the Commons across from Ben & Jerry's and Starbucks and next to The Learning Express toy store.

Caldwell is offering some deals on fall classes at the North Hills location. Click here for more information about Lil' Chef.

And I'm also excited to announce that Lil' Chef will be offering healthy recipes twice a month on Go Ask Mom starting next week!
