"Just keep reading"--Gaston County teachers working to encourage kids through Facebook reading videos
The coronavirus has affected public schooling across the nation, but that's not stopping teachers from reaching their students.

Gaston County teachers and the Gaston Literacy Council are highlighting the importance of reading during this time away from in-person schooling by posting videos to Facebook of them reading children’s books.
A lot of students in the county wouldn’t have access to literature if it weren’t for the Facebook videos. These teachers don’t want their students to regress, so they hope these videos will encourage students to continue reading every day.
