Internet restored at Triangle DMV offices after fiber cable cuts

The outage affected seven driver license offices and four license plate agencies. North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles attempted to reach out to customers to reschedule appointments at affected driver license offices during the outage.
An employee at a DMV office in Garner said computers were down for most of the day.
“We are working as quickly as possible to restore wireline service to customers in the Raleigh area after contractors from another company damaged our fiber line,” an AT&T spokesperson said.
