Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville will offer a special July 4 discount through the long holiday weekend.
From Saturday to Tuesday, admission is $4; kids under age 2 are free. The discount is half off the normal child's admission. The splash pad, water slide and other play areas are all included in the price.
Some other news from Hill Ridge:
The Chuckwagon Grill now has a new kid's menu, along with salads, wraps and gluten free choices. It's open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., daily.
In addition to the Welcome Wednesday deal, which includes one free adult with each child's admission, there's also the Friday Funday offer. It includes a free train ride with each admission as well as 1/2 price ice cream and snow cones every Friday!
