With temperatures expected to soar into the low 90s this weekend, Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville has opened its outdoor sprayground a little earlier than usual.

Jennifer Dunn, the farm's events manager, tells me that the sprayground is now open daily and included with regular admission.

Tickets for the spring and summer season, which began earlier this month, are $8 for ages 2 to 12 and $6 for teens and adults. On Wednesdays, visitors get one free adult admission with each paid child's admission.

In addition to the sprayground, the outdoor farm and play area features a giant tube slide, jumping pillow, hay rides, kiddie train and farm animals. It's at 703 Tarboro Rd. in Youngsville, which is northeast of Raleigh not far from Wake Forest.

You'll find changing area and bathroom near the sprayground so kids can get out of wet suits after splashing in the water.
