Fourth person arrested in Wilson homicide

A fourth person was arrested Monday for a Nov. 5 homicide in Wilson, police said Tuesday.

WILSON, N.C. — A fourth person was arrested Monday for a Nov. 5 homicide in Wilson, police said Tuesday.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Ian C. Martin, 25, of 1005 Lincoln St. in Wilson, at a business on U.S. Highway 301 in Four Oaks, police said. He was placed in the Wilson County jail under no bond.

Martin is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree burglary in the death of Devon Mondrell Deberry, 30. Officers were called to 2608-A Byerly Dr. at about 3 a.m. for a report of shots fired, where they discovered Deberry's deceased body.

David Shadon Devar Fate III, 26, and Kendrae Rayquan Parker, 23, both of Wilson, and Reginal E. Hinnant, 24, of Kenly, are each charged with with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree burglary in the case.
