Two arrested in Wilson homicide

Two people were arrested and charged Wednesday with an early morning homicide in Wilson.

Officers were called to 2608-A Byerly Dr. at about 3 a.m. for a report of shots fired, where they discovered the deceased body of Devon Mondrell Deberry, 30, of 404 Pinecrest Dr. in Wilson.

David Shadon Devar Fate III, 26, and Kendrae Rayquan Parker, 23, both of Wilson, are each charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree burglary. Both remained in the Wilson County jail Wednesday under no bond.
