Flu vaccine, BBQ sauce among finalists for 'Coolest Thing Made in NC'

A flu vaccine, barbecue sauce and light jet are among the finalists for the "Coolest Thing Made in North Carolina," a competition presented by the North Carolina Chamber.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A flu vaccine, barbecue sauce and light jet are among the finalists for the "Coolest Thing Made in North Carolina," a competition presented by the North Carolina Chamber.

The statewide online competition started with 68 nominees. Thousands of votes were cast to reduce to the top five finalists.

The winning company and product will receive a trophy and be featured in NC Chamber and Business North Carolina publications, podcasts, social and digital media.
