Five Star restaurant is neo chinese cuisine inspired from an area in Taiwan, a lot of the dishes are traditional family dishes that have been modified for you know more of an american palate portions are pretty generous so you can share. So I think that's one thing that we're known for is bringing a lot of parties and communities and families together. We have very large groups um that come in and do that, I think that's why we've been in business for so long, We've had a huge music scene influence that people don't know about. A lot of hip hop producers and DJs that have come through the doors. I think faster was set apart from a lot of places 22 years ago because you could go and have a really awesome dinner there and then you could also get up and be in a nightclub immediately. You are always gonna have your traditional asian dishes such as general chicken, sesame, beef, scallion pancakes, we can make all of our dumplings now, like a kimchi beef dumpling, that's amazing. She's done a chicken and curry with cilantro asian inspired um but definitely just very funky, different things we do as sweet and sour chicken which is you know something that is not spicy, We have a spicy beef with noodles which is something a little bit more spicy with more flavor, a little bit more traditional spices into that. I love the green beans, green beans are my favorite, like the green meats by themselves are amazing but if you come in and you say let me get some garlic or spicy, you know you're a regular because that's not on the menu. So when you ask for you know a certain things, we know that you've been coming here for 20 years because you're, how you're ordering is how the staff orders it, the decor. Um it's not like a traditional asian restaurant is a little bit more graffiti, hip hop, it definitely has a history and we try to have all the local artists that have been with us dining with us, having parties with us for all these years. They all came together and everybody contributed to the new space. Our new adventure is moving to Durham, Hopefully opening in the middle of november right there and the Durham Bulls part, we have really cool infusions and asian creation cocktails and people are like loving it and I think that we're putting something that's palatable and interesting and people are trying it and and we're seeing a big move on on cocktails. The atmosphere here is really important. It's a really great place to come in and feel comfortable and have dinner and listen to a really good song and have a DJ have really amazing drinks. Uh it's a really cool place to experience and I think everyone and really should come check it out

I'm meteorologist K Campbell in the wr a severe weather center. Another day of above normal temperatures as highs climbed into the low to mid eighties. The big difference, the humidity, I am sure you noticed it outside. It's feeling more humid. Dew points were in the upper sixties throughout much of the day. We're going to be in that humid category on the muggy meter through Wednesday and then perhaps actually climbing a bit Thursday ahead of a cold front before we see a huge crash, how humid it feels outside by the time we get to the weekend. So some good news there, the humidity, it's not going to last all the way through the summer. We've got a spring like break ahead for the weekend, but it's feeling like summer during the week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, highs are in the upper eighties to lower nineties with the high humidity and each day does come with a chance for some scattered thunderstorms. So let's talk about that chance. It looks like Tuesday. It's actually early in the morning that we may have the best chance of storms, very icy activity during the afternoon and then perhaps a brief uptick later in the evening. Once we get to Wednesday, this model in particular tends to be overdone two days in advance. But you get the point, some scattered storms develop late in the day. And then Thursday, we don't yet have a high resolution model of data available for. But given that we have this approaching cold front to help lift the air that provides the mechanism of the mechanism for storms to form in the first place. And then it's going to be so hot, so humid that we've got plenty of energy for those storms to strengthen and perhaps become severe. So we're thinking it'll be a bit more widespread. Thursday. There is a level one out of five threat for severe weather, Tuesday and Wednesday. So a low threat and then Thursday, we don't yet have which risk level will be under determined. However, we're in the area already highlighted to be placed under some kind of risk for Thursday forecast rainfall over the next five days, about half an inch to an inch of rain will be possible. Watering forecasts, you can see we've got a chance of storms in through Friday and then I think will be dry during the day. Saturday. There is a small chance of a shower thunderstorm this Saturday night into Sunday morning for Mother's Day. So of course, we'll keep an eye on that for you as you plan ahead for Mother's Day weekend during the week. It's feeling like summer, hot, humid storm chances each day. We've got changes in store for the weekend and lows could dip back down to 50 by Saturday morning.
