Harris, a mom of two, also is on our Made by Mom Gift Guide for her fantastic Fort Kits for Kids and STEMPlay products, which offer a variety of fun and educational toys for kids. Our guide this year is presented by Midwifery at Women's Health Alliance.

Last year, Harris launched the fort kits, handmade bags filled with a sheet, flashlight, clips, ropes and other fort-building necessities. These are great for rainy days and even outdoor play at tailgates, parks or anywhere.

This year, she launched a line of STEMPlay toys, including a top that teaches kids about color and light and wooden bee houses, which are designed to attract pollinators.

They're "offline toys," Harris told me last month when I featured her STEMPlay toys, "that promote STEM skills."

Harris will be sharing many more experiments this winter. (You can earlier ones on our Easy Experiments page). Check back for new ones. Harris' website has more experiments and details about her fun and educational products. (Can't wait for my little one to unwrap one of her fort kits this year!).
