Duke's Teer House is offering a few workshops that will appeal to parents. Here's what's on the schedule:

  • Parenting Your Stressed Child, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., July 12. Brings mind-body skills to youth and families to develop healthy coping strategies and build resiliency. Click here for details and to register.
  • Peanut Allergies in Children and Adults, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., July 18. Discover new treatment approaches to peanut allergies including information on clinical trials. Click here for details and to register.
  • Girl Talk: Exploring Adolescent Pressures, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., July 21. Helping girls ages 10 to 12 identify and resolve issues with body image, self esteem, and media’s messages. Girls and their mom or other influential woman are invited to share this experience. Click here for details and to register.
