Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown is signing a multi-year contract extension with the team.

On Friday, the Panthers announced the news on their website.

Brown, 25, is signing a four-year extension worth up to $96 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Brown's extension includes $63.135 million guaranteed, an unnamed source told Schefter.
