Stock up on kids' items at swap meet

We have two consignment sales this week.

The first is Upscale Resale at 424 Crossroads Blvd. at Crossroads Plaza in Cary (near Kid to Kid). The sale is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday (when some items are half off).
The general public also can shop earlier by paying $15 cash to enter a special adults-only Ladies' Night Out shopping event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday. All of the entry fees will go toward The Green Chair Project, which provides home furnishings for needy individuals and families in Wake County. It does wonderful work!

Upscale Resale is a bit different from traditional consignment sales as it focuses on higher end children's clothing, overstocks from boutique brands and only certain kinds of toys (American Girl, Lego, Thomas the Train, Melissa and Doug, etc.). The price point here will be a bit higher than what you'll see at other sales.

The second sale is Triangle Parents of Multiples' clothing and equipment consignment sale. It's open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Kerr Scott Building at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in west Raleigh. You'll find some great deals on clothes, toys and gear for kids.
Our consignment sale list has information about dozens of sales across the region.
