Consignment sales in Benson, Raleigh this week

The public sale for Take 2 Kids in Johnston County is 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday when some items are half off. Expectant moms can get half off a little earlier, but you must be registered. Check the sale's website for details. And note the new location for the sale, which is at 603 S. Wall Street in Benson at the old Holland Furniture Building across from Carlie C's IGA.

And while this is not a traditional consignment sale, it's worth nothing. Downtown Raleigh's First Presbyterian Church's first Fabulous Marketplace will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to noon Saturday. You'll find all kinds of things here including consignment-quality children's clothing. The marketplace will benefit the church's capital campaign.
