If you haven't heard, a Raleigh couple is working to open a cat cafe, a concept that's popular in other parts of the world and combines enjoying a beverage with cuddling a cat at the same time.

WRAL.com's Out & About section covered plans for the Purr Cup Cafe back in March. To raise awareness, Purr Cup Cafe is holding pop-up cat cafes. The second one is this weekend - 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, at Read With Me, the new children's bookstore in downtown Raleigh.

A storytime during the event is slated for 1:30 p.m. The afternoon also will include coffee and cats, along with a chance to check out Read With Me and learn more about plans for Purr Cup Cafe.

As the Facebook event page says: "This is not a BYOC (bring your own cat) event ... we will have plenty!"

Read With Me is at 111 E. Hargett St., about a block from Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh.
