It's Father's Day weekend! If you're looking for something special to do with dad, we've got some ideas.

Car-Loving Dads

The 2019 Bull City Cruise In at the American Tobacco Campus starts at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 15. You'll see more than 100 cars and trucks on display. At Diamond View Park, there also will be vendors, inflatables and face painters. And, you can check out the new Bull City Mini for an adult beverage and some friendly family competition on the indoor/outdoor course.
The 2019 Wake Forest Charity Car Show is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, on South White Street in downtown Wake Forest. The free event will showcase vehicles of all makes and models, including muscle cars, sports cars, pony cars, classic and antique autos, street rods and trucks, according to the website.

Sports-Loving Dads

The Durham Bulls has games through Sunday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Fireworks are planned after Friday and Saturday's games.
The Carolina Mudcats have home games at Five County Stadium through Sunday. Fireworks are planned after Friday's game.
At WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina FC and NC Courage have a Pride Night double header. The men are playing at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 15. The women follow at 7:45 p.m.
And the Holly Springs Salamanders, the collegiate summer league, will have home games at Ting Stadium through Sunday.

Foodie Dads

Peak City Pig Fest is Friday and Saturday in downtown Apex.
And Durham Central Park will host one of its very popular food truck rodeos from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 16. For kids, Bull City Music School will be on hand with cardboard practice violins and drums to play.

Arts-and-Crafts-Loving Dads

The NC Museum of Art will host its free weekend family tours at 10:30 a.m., Saturday and Sunday. The half-hour tours are great for kids ages 5 to 11 and their families. They're free. This weekend, the focus will be on arts of the African continent. While you're there, check out the museum's updated Threads of Experience gallery.
Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh hosts DIY with Dad on Father's Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, June 16. Bring your creativity and let the duct tape flow while you make a special project with Dad, according to the description.
