I wrote a post earlier this month about a couple of speakers from the National Center for Biblical Parenting who will be stopping at North Raleigh Church of Christ in September.

I just learned they'll also be at Bay Leaf Baptist Church that week. The free parenting seminar is 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at the church at 12200 Bayleaf Church Rd. in north Raleigh.  The topic is dealing with anger and bad attitudes in children. Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, founders of the biblical parenting center, will lead the discussion designed for parents of kids ages 18 and under.

A family night meal from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. will be offered. The cost for the meal is no more than $14 per family. There will also be an Awana program for preschoolers to fifth graders and the church's student ministry activities for kids in grades six to twelve.

The seminar is free, but registration is required. Click here for details and to register.
The program at North Raleigh Church of Christ is set for 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8. It's also free. See my earlier post for details.
