Back to School: Tips for high schoolers

The high school years can be very stressful for kids. Toqui Kennedy, a psychologist with N.C. Parent Consultants, offers some tips to steer them in the right direction.

So we're finishing up our back to school series with some tips for parents with kids headed to high school.

Toqui Kennedy, a psychologist with N.C. Parent Consultants, which is made up of former counselors from Project Enlightenment, tells me that these can be very stressful years for kids. There's a lot of pressure from all directions. And it's a time when they're making some pretty major life decisions from whether to go to college to whether to take drugs.

Kennedy offers some tips for helping to steer them in the right direction in this video.
