RALEIGH, N.C. — To cut down on the wait time to get tickets for the rides at Pullen Park, you can now buy them in advance and online.  Tickets are $1.50 each for the train, kiddie boats and carousel.

Having a ticket doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to ride something on a specific day and time. But, having a ticket in advance, especially on weekends, could cut down your wait times because you don't have to stand in the ticket line.

As always, tickets are valid for any day and do not expire.

Pullen's rides are opened at limited capacity. Here's the schedule:
  • Pullen Carousel, Thursday - Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Pullen Train, Saturday - Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Pullen Kiddie Boats are open with limited capacity and limited operating hours.
Pullen Park is at 520 Ashe Ave. near downtown Raleigh. Head over to the city's program registration page to purchase your tickets online.

Through the link, you also can purchase tickets for Chavis Park's carousel, but it is currently closed because of construction at the park.
