The dearly departed Tyler's Taproom, which closed its doors at American Tobacco Campus earlier this year, will soon be replaced by a pop-up beer garden.

Rocky Mount Mills Beer Garden @ American Tobacco will take over the space that was formerly home to Tyler's, and it is set for a soft launch next Thursday, according to officials at Blackwell Street Management Company, which is owned by Capitol Broadcasting Company, the parent company of WRAL-TV and Rocky Mount Mills.

The beer garden's regular hours will be Through and Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 9 p.m.

The beer garden will feature brews sourced from breweries at Rocky Mount Mills, including Hopfly, Tarboro, Koi Pond and BDD brewing companies.

Tyler's Taproom had served beer for 14 years at American Tobacco Campus before it shut its doors on April 19.

Tyler's Taproom closed its Raleigh location in 2015 and its Apex location in 2017. The Carrboro location, at 102 E. Main St., remains open.
