CANCELED: Another big slip 'n slide coming to the Triangle
Slide Fest, which is noon to 6 p.m., Sunday, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.

We had Slide the City earlier this year, which drew a sell out crowd (and, I heard from lots of people who went, some really long lines).
Now there is Slide Fest, which is noon to 6 p.m., Sunday, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Tickets start at $10 for a single slider. Sliders must be 44″ tall to slide and have an inflatable tube. (If you don't have one, you can buy one at the event).
The website promises 1,000 feet of "slip-sliding fun."
Tickets are on sale now. Prices go up on Sunday if there are any tickets left.
