WRAL, Komen hold event at Crabtree Valley Mall Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. — WRAL and Komen NC Triangle to the Coast are teaming up for a special event Saturday at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., learn more about breast health, win prizes and meet WRAL's public Race for the Cure Team co-captains, anchors Gerald Owens and Jackie Hyland and meteorologist Mike Maze. (Note: Maze and Hyland will be there 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Owens will be on hand 1-3 p.m.)

The 2015 Race for the Cure is June 13 at Meredith College in Raleigh.

Join Team WRAL on-site at Crabtree on Saturday and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win a $100 Belk gift card.

Children will have the opportunity to make special craft items with Go Ask Mom from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

And bring your appetite and some cash because Mrs. Fields is making a giant cookie cake for the occasion. Pieces will be given out in exchange for donations to Komen NC Triangle to the Coast.
