RALEIGH, N.C. — Here's what's happening in the General Assembly on Wednesday, Nov. 28:
  • The Senate Appropriations Committee meets at 11 a.m. to take up legislation that would allocate about $300 million of the nearly $800 million lawmakers set aside in October for Hurricane Florence recovery.
  • The relief bill, along with a voter ID bill and a proposal to increase business-recruitment incentives, are expected to be heard by the Senate Rules Committee at 2 a.m. before heading to the floor.
  • The House has no votes on its calendar.
