Just in case you have to make a last minute trip to the grocery or drug store on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, here are the hours for our local stores. Many grocery stores will be open through the early afternoon, but some are closed the entire day.

Just in case you have to make a last minute trip to the grocery or drug store on Thanksgiving Day, here are the hours for our local stores.
Many grocery stores will be open through the early afternoon, but some are closed the entire day.
These hours are valid Thursday, November 28, 2019. Keep in mind that some individual stores may be open later or close earlier. The hours posted below are from the store sales ads this week, listed on their websites, or directly from employees at the store.
Grocery Stores (in alphabetical order)
Aldi will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Carlie C's will be open until 2 pm and their pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Dollar General will be open at most locations from 7 am to 10 pm on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Earth Fare will be open until 3 pm on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Food Lion will be open until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Harris Teeter will be open until 2 pm on Thanksgiving Day 2019. They will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 8 am.
Lidl stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Lowes Foods will be open until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Publix stores and pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Sprouts will be open from 7 am until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Target: Most stores will be open from 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day until 1 am Friday. They will then reopen on Friday at 7 am.
The Fresh Market will be open until 3 pm on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Trader Joe's will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
Walmart: Most Walmart stores will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day 2019. See your specific location for details regarding the pharmacy and store hours.
