Woman found dead at Rocky Mount motel
Rocky Mount police are looking for the truck belonging to a woman found dead in a room at the Executive Inn, at 1821 N. Wesleyan Blvd., Wednesday.
Posted — UpdatedPolice said a cleaning crew found the body of Melissa Jo Wise, 38, in room 104 at about 10:40 a.m. The cause of her death is unknown.
Wise had been reported missing Tuesday after she did not show up for work, police said. Her 2002 Ford F-150 with North Carolina license plate VRC 7985 and has been registered as a stolen vehicle.
Anyone who sees the truck or has information about Wise's death was asked to call the Rocky Mount Police Department at 252-972-1411.
