RALEIGH, N.C. — A William Peace University freshman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly exposing himself.

Investigators say Christopher Vincent Sumrell, 20, was at his dorm on the Raleigh campus Tuesday when he exposed himself to at least three people.

Sumrell, a freshman, was jailed under a $5,000 bond on three counts of indecent exposure.

"We will investigate the situation, and William Peace University will not accept any behavior unbecoming of a student," Frank Rizzo, vice president of student affairs, said. "That will be seen as inappropriate, and we will follow our own judicial process."

Sumrell is among the first male students at the university. In August, the school opened its doors to men for the first time in more than 150 years.
