I don't want to get all conspiracy theory on you -- but what's up with the basketballs?
I'm talking about the big basketballs that are used as prizes on the new midway. I see lots of UNC basketballs, Duke basketballs, even Florida State basketballs. But where are the NCSU basketballs? I see a few, a few splashes of red against a sea of dark and light blue.
I'm not trying to stir up trouble. I do recognize that Duke and Carolina are very strong basketball teams, but hey, NCSU has been to the NCAA tourney for the last five seasons. And this IS Raleigh, home of NC State. How about a little bit more representation in the prize booth?
An easy answer to the question would be, "The NCSU balls have all been given away as prizes" but alas, they were as scarce last Thursday as they are now....
Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing any Wake Forest basketballs at all. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong prize booths...
