RALEIGH, N.C. — A new search warrant reveals that a woman knew about sexual encounters between a Raleigh girl and her swim coach.

Nathan Weddle, 43, of 1941 Blackwolf Run Lane in Raleigh, was arrested in December on and charged with seven counts of indecent liberties with a child and six counts of statutory sex offense with a child under the age of 16.

Weddle coached the Capital Area Swim Team and a neighborhood swim team, the Hedingham Sharks.

The girl told Raleigh police that Weddle's girlfriend, Shannon Lynn Foster, found texts on his phone revealing their relationship and that Foster later called her up and yelled at her, according to an application to search Foster's phone.

After Weddle's arrest, police said they found texts on his phone from Foster about his relationship with the girl.

Foster, 44, of 2033 Murrfield Villa in Raleigh, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
