Thomasville man charged with trafficking pills
Moore County deputies arrested Jimmy Dale Epperson, 49, of 122 Shepard St. in Thomasville, and charged him on Monday with trafficking in prescription pills.
Posted — UpdatedUndercover agents began monitoring Epperson in 2008 in the Aberdeen area, authorities said.
During the investigation, they purchased and seized about 20 dosage units of Lortab prescription pills, which had an estimated street value of $200.
Monday, deputies charged Epperson with three counts of felony trafficking in opium, one count of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, one count of selling a Schedule III controlled substance, and one count of delivering a Schedule III controlled substance.
Deputies held him in the Moore County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
