Raleigh police searching for driver in hit-and-run crash

Raleigh police are searching for a suspect following a hit-and-run crash Monday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are searching for a suspect following a hit-and-run crash Monday night.

Authorities said a woman was struck by a car on West Cliff Court near Bashford Road at about 9 p.m.

Police said the suspect was seen running through a nearby apartment complex and through a wooded area following the crash.

A police dog was assisting in the search for the suspect.

Authorities said the woman sustained non-life threatening injuries.
