Police: Man at Triangle Town Center when shots were fired at WakeMed with wound

Police responded to shots fired at Triangle Town Center in north Raleigh. The incident was reported around 2:45 p.m., officials said.

Police respond to shots fired at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh; no injuries reported
RALEIGH, N.C. — Police responded to shots fired at Triangle Town Center located at 5959 Triangle Town Blvd. in Raleigh around 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police initially said no injuries were reported, but Sunday evening, Raleigh police confirmed that a man with a gunshot wound arrived at WakeMed about a half-hour after the incident.

Police said the man was on the scene when the shots were fired, but he is not cooperating with officers.

The mall was not evacuated.

Officials are investigating the shooting.
