Knightdale police are looking for a man who threatened Walmart employees with a gun while trying to steal a big-screen TV.

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — Knightdale police are looking for a man who threatened Walmart employees with a gun while trying to steal a big-screen TV.

The man, who officials believe is between the ages of 46 and 60 years old, was pushing the TV out of the store’s garden center entrance when two employees stopped him and tried to verify the purchase.

The man pointed a gun at employees, threatened them and left the store, located at 7106 Knightdale Blvd.

The employees went back into the store and were unharmed.

The man was last seen driving west on Knightdale Boulevard in a teal Honda CRV.

He has a gray goatee and glasses and was wearing a hat and heavy coat.
