Police who investigated a fight in Durham early Sunday morning say the brawl was not gang-related.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police who investigated a fight in Durham early Sunday morning say the brawl was not gang-related.

Police got a call about the fight at the intersection of Corcoran and Main streets around 2 a.m., and it took them 25 minutes to break it up. About 100 people, at maximum, were involved, police said.

Investigators said they don't know the exact cause of the fight. No weapons were used and no one needed medical attention.

At least five people were arrested, officers said.
