CHAPEL HILL — Charles Kuralt touched many lives duringhis life. Now his family wants to continue that tradition in his memory.Kuralt's family is asking that any memorial donations be made to theUNC School of Social Work.

Following a private burial service Tuesday morning, a public memorialservice will be held at noon in UNC's Memorial Hall.
Among the speakers at the service will be retired CBS anchorman WalterCronkite and North Carolina Governor Jim Hunt.
UNC Chapel Hill Chancellor Michael Hooker will preside over theceremonies.
