CLAYTON — Neighbors say it's an eyesore, but the statesays it's not a problem. After visiting a tire storage yard in Clayton,inspectors with the Department of Natural Resources say the site is not anenvironmental threat.
The owner is trying to get a permit to use the 600,000 tires in anexperimental project to reduce hog odor.
If that doesn't happen in the next few months, the D-N-R says it willreassess the situation.
