DURHAM, N.C. — A visual reminder of the horror Israelis witness every day is on display at Duke University's West Campus.
On Jan. 29, a suicide bomber detonated explosives on a bus in Jerusalem, killing 11 people and hurting 50 more.
The bus is in direct response to a conference being held at Duke University this weekend by the Palestinian Solidarity Movement. Members of Duke's Jewish community want students to see a different perspective.
Duke officials said allowing the conference is about freedom of speech and a healthy exchange of ideas.
